The study aims at knowing how far do the questions of the Arabic language concentrate on developing the thinking skills of the gills in the fourth secondary schools in Iraq Baghdad, according to blooms classifition for cognitive aims. The sample of the study is from all the questions in all the Arabic language books forth secondary schools for the gills in Iraq /Baghdad it contains 758 question. The research used measurement's for questions classifition depending on booms classifications for cognitive aims, as tools for the study. The rustles are as flowing : 1) in the books of reading comprehension ,poetry and prose the questions are concentrated on the lowest levels of thinking such as the knowing and understated levels. and their percentage in( 77 0/0),while the percentage of question on the highest levels of thinking existed only in( 23 0/0)of the questions in those books. 2) the are no questions on the compound level of thinking 3) in the books of the grammar of the Arabic language, the questions are concentrated on the levels of application, (with a percentage (57 0/0), and understanding , with a percentage of (32 0/0) .and there are no questions on the compound level. 4) the study proved that there are differences with statistical significant in the concentration of questions in the four books.
