هدف البحث إلى إبراز التطبيقات التربوية في التعليم المرتبطة بقاعدة الأمور بمقاصدها في ميدان التربية الإسلامية. ومن أبرز نتائج البحث: التأكيد على أهمية التأصيل الإسلامي لعلم التربية انطلاقاً من القواعد الفقهية. وأن التطبيقات التربوية لقاعدة الأمور بمقاصدها في التربية تبرز في مجال أهداف ومقاصد العملية التعليمية. كما أكد على ضرورة السير على المقاصد والأهداف الإسلامية المستنبطة من القرآن الكريم والسنة النبوية, التي سار عليها السَّلف الصالح رضوان الله عليهم في طلب العلم وتَعلُّمه وتعليمه له دور كبير في الإفادة من تراثنا الفكري العريق والإفادة من إسهامات علماء المسلمين فيه. وأوصى البحث بأهمية إقرار مادة دراسية تختص بأحكام النية وآدابها وخاصة ما يتعلق منها بالتربية والتعليم. وإجراء دراسات أخرى حول تطبيقات هذه القاعدة في ميادين التربية الأخرى كالأسرة والمجتمع. كما أكد على ضرورة الانطلاق من مقاصد الشريعة الإسلامية المستمدة من القرآن الكريم والسنة النبوية في إعداد وتقويم العملية التعليمية بأركانها المختلفة. وضرورة إقامة الدورات وورش العمل في تطوير إعداد المعلمين وتزويدهم بمنهجية علماء المسلمين وآثارهم في التعليم.
