هدفت الدراسة إلى تحديد درجة ممارسة مديري مدارس التعليم الثانوي لمبادئ الإدارة الذاتية من وجهة نظر المعلمين بمدينة تبوك. واستخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي المسحي. وأعدت استبانة مكونة من خمسة أبعاد تمثل أبعاد الإدارة الذاتية وتكونت من (33) عبارة. فيما تم اختيار عينة عشوائية بسيطة بنسبة (31.8 %) من مجتمع الدراسة البالغ (790) مُعلماً، وتمت المعالجة الإحصائية لعدد (232) استبانة، بنسبة (29.3 %) من كامل المجتمع. وأظهرت النتائج أن درجة ممارسة مديري مدارس التعليم الثانوي لمبادئ الإدارة الذاتية من وجهة نظر المعلمين بمدينة تبوك جاءت بدرجة متوسطة لجميع الأبعاد، وبمتوسط حسابي بلغ (2.13)، كما أظهرت نتائج البحث عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (0.05) بين متوسطات استجابات أفراد الدراسة نحو درجة ممارسة مديري مدارس التعليم الثانوي لمبادئ الإدارة الذاتية من وجهة نظر المعلمين في مدينة تبوك ومتغيراته. وقدمت الدراسة عدة توصيات كان أبرزها العمل على دعم تفويض السلطة من خلال التوجه نحو اللامركزية، إتباع مبدأ المشاركة في اتخاذ القرارات المدرسية، ووضع حوافز تشجيعية للمعلمين الملتحقين بالدورات التدريبية والتي تساعد على تنميتهم مهنياً في مجال عملهم. The study aimed to determine the degree of practicing the principles of self-management by the heads of the secondary schools from the point of view of teachers in Tabuk City. This research followed the descriptive survey method and prepared a questionnaire composed of five dimensions represent self-management dimensions and consisted of (33) statements. A simple random sample rate (31.8%) of the study society (790) teachers and has statistical treatment of a number (232) questionnaire, by (29.3) of the entire community. The results indicated that the degree of practicing the principles of self-management practiced by secondary schools’ heads from the face of teachers in Tabuk were moderately to all dimensions, and reached a mean (2.13). It also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean individuals find responses about the degree of the principles of self-management practiced by secondary education schools’ principals from the point of view of teachers in the city of Tabuk and its variables.The study recommended working to support the delegation of authority by the trend towards decentralization, following the principle of participation in school decision-making and developing incentives for teachers attending training courses which help development professionals in their field.
