The present study aimed at investigating the effect of using caricatures on improving creative writing skills among female tenth basic grade students in Jordan. The study followed a quasi-experimental research design where two groups were allocated; one as experimental and another as control. The sample of the study was selected conveniently from two schools in Bani-Kananeh directorate of education. The number of the participants in both groups was found as (50) participants, distributed as two intact groups. One group consisted of (25) students, as an experimental group, taught by using caricatures, and a second group consisted of (25) students, as a control group, taught by using conventional method. In order to achieve the aim of the study, the researchers developed a creative writing test and verified its validity and reliability. The two groups were subjected to the pre-post creative writing test. The results of the study revealed a statistically significant effect by using caricatures on improving creative writing skills collectively, and for each skill of the five sub skills under study
