هدفت الدراسة إلى بناء بطاقة لتقويم الأداء المتوازن في الأقسام العلمية بالجامعات السعودية. وقد استخدم الباحث المنهج الاستقرائي والاستنباطي وأسلوب التحليل الهرمي لترتيب أبعادها ومؤشراتها وفقا لأهميتها النسبية. وجاءت أبرز نتائجها بتحديد أبعادها وترتيب مؤشراتها حسب الأهمية النسبية لكل بعد، حيث جاء بعد الإدارة الجامعية في مقدمة هذه الأبعاد، فبعد التدريس الجامعي، ثم بعد البحث العلمي، ثم بعد الإرشاد الأكاديمي والطلابي، وأخيرا بعد خدمة المجتمع، كما أوضحت الدراسة إمكانية التغلب على مشكلة التحيز الشخصي في بناء أبعاد بطاقة الأداء المتوازن وترتيب مؤشراتها من خلال تطبيق أسلوب التحليل الهرمي المبني على استخدام أساليب رياضية موضوعية. والعمل على تفعيل سبل تطوير الخدمات التعليمية التي حصلت على تأييد وموافقة أفراد عينة الدراسة. The study aims at creating a balanced scorecard for evaluating the performance of academic departments in Saudi universities. The researcher uses the inductive and deductive approaches in addition to the hierarchical analysis method in order to arrange the dimensions and indicators of the balanced scorecard according to their relative importance. The most prominent result of the study is the identification of the dimensions and indicators of the balanced score card according to the relative importance of each dimension. The university administration dimension comes first, then the dimensions of university teaching, scientific research, academic and student counseling, and community service, respectively. The study also shows the possibility of overcoming the problem of personal bias in building the dimensions of the balanced scorecard and arranging its indicators by applying a hierarchical analysis approach based on the use of objective mathematical methods.
