استهدفت الدراسة تقويم برامج الدراسات العليا التي يقدمها قسم التربية الإسلامية والمقارنة بكلية التربية في جامعة أم القرى من وجهة نظر الخريجين. ولتحقيق هذا الهدف، استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي المسحي وذلك من خلال استبانة موجهة لجميع خريجي وخريجات القسم من آخر ثلاث دفعات أنهت مرحلتي الماجستير والدكتوراه، بالإضافة إلى مقابلة شخصية مع بعض منهم. وقد توصلت الدراسة لعدة نتائج، كان أهمها: 1) المقررات التي يقدمها قسم التربية الإسلامية والمقارنة في مرحلة الدراسات العليا مهمة وترتبط بالتخصص بدرج ة كبيرة (4.02)، كما أنها أفادت أفراد العينة في الرسالة العلمية بدرجة كبيرة (3.61). 2) منظومة الدراسات العليا تحقق نواتج التعلم التي يسعى لها القسم بدرجة متوسطة (3.34). 3) أعضاء هيئة التدريس يقومون بالأدوار المنوطة بهم بدرجة متوسطة (3.33). 4) البرامج التي يقدمها القسم تحقق أهداف الدراسات العليا بدرجة متوسطة (3.14). 5) منظومة الدراسات العليا بالقسم تحقق التسهيلات الإدارية والمادية بدرجة متوسطة (2.84). Evaluation is the means that is used to assess the reality of any system and the extent to which its programs achieve its goals; and this is the basis for taking the necessary decisions to develop efficiency and increase effectiveness. This study aims to evaluate higher studies programs of the Department of Islamic and Comparative Education in the College of Education from the viewpoint of graduate students. To achieve this aim, the researcher uses the descriptive survey method through a questionnaire addressed to all male and female graduate students of the department from the last three classes who finished their master's and doctorate's programs. Moreover, the researcher has conducted interviews with some of the graduate students. Among the most important findings of the study is that the courses offered by the department of Comparative and Islamic Education for graduate studies are important and are highly relevant to the specialization (4.02). These courses also benefit the members of the sample significantly in their dissertations (3.61). Another important finding of the study is that the graduate studies system achieves its projected learning outcomes moderately (3.34). The findings also show that faculty perform their assigned duties moderately (3.33). Moreover, the programs offered by the department achieve the objectives of graduate studies moderately (3.14). Finally, the graduate studies system provides administrative and material facilities moderately (2.84). (Published abstract)
