هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى اتجاها ت المعلمين والمعلمات العاملين مع ذوي الإعاقة في مدينة جدة نحو استخدام التمرينات المائية - الوسط المائي - لتأهيل ذوي طيف التوحد والأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة العقلية والسمعية، إضافة إلى تحديد الفروق في اتجاهات العاملين تبعاً لمتغير كل من قطاع عمل المعلمين وجنس المعلم ين والمؤهل العلمي ونوع الإعاقة التي يتعامل معها وخبرة المعلمين، ولتحقيق ذلك أجريت الدراسة على عينة عشوائية قوامها من (180) معلم و(90) معلمة من مجتمع الدراسة، طبق عليها استبانة لقياس الاتجاهات تم تقنينها لمسح اتجاهات المعلمين والمعلمات نحو التمرينات المائية، أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن اتجاهات المعلمين والمعلمات نحو استخدام التمرينات المائية - الوسط المائي - للتأهيل كانت ايجابية بمتوسط حسابي بلغ (3.89)، وكانت الفروق دالة إحصائياً على البعد المعرفي لصالح الإناث لارتفاع التحصيل الأكاديمي لديهن عن الذكور، وأن ترتيب المجالات كان وعلى التوالي: الصحي والمعرفي من جهة وبين مجالي الاجتماعي والبدني من جهة أخر ى. وأوصى الباحث بعدة توصيات من أهمها، تعزيز واستثمار اتجاهات المعلمين الاناث والذكور نحو التمرينات المائية بهدف زيادة رقعة وقاعدة استخدام التمرينات المائية في التأهيل. The study aims to identify teachers' attitudes who work with disabled people in Jeddah toward using aquatic exercises to rehabilitate people with autism spectrum disorders, mental disability and hearing Impairment. In addition, it aims to define the differences in teachers' attitudes according to a number of variables that include teachers' job sector, gender, qualification, experience and type of disability they deal with. In order to achieve the study's aim, the study was applied on a random sample of 180 male teachers and 90 female teachers from the study population. Moreover, a questionnaire of attitude assessment was applied on the sample to examine the teachers' attitudes toward aquatic exercises. The results of this study shows that the teachers' attitudes toward using aquatic exercises for rehabilitation are positive with an average of (3.89), and there are statistically significant differences in the knowledge domain in favor of female teachers as their academic achievement is higher than the males. The order of domains are health and knowledge domains on a side, and social and physical domains on the other side. The researcher recommends that male and female teachers' attitudes should be enhanced to increase the scope of using aquatic exercises in rehabilitation. (Published abstract)
