The objective of this research is to identify the patterns used in family leadership and their relation to student achievement. The survey method was used on a sample of 540 secondary school students in Abha. For data collection; the research used the questionnaire. The Main results :Both democratic and bureaucratic patterns are sometimes practiced in the leadership of the family, There are differences between students in evaluating the reality of the practice of bureaucratic style in favor of students, There are differences in the evaluation of the practice of the father bureaucratic pattern between those who work in government or military jobs for the benefit of those who work militarily, and there are differences in assessing the reality of the practice of the democratic pattern between those who work in government or private jobs and retired for the benefit of In government or private jobs, and there are differences in the evaluation of the reality of practicing the anarchist pattern between those who work in government jobs and those who work in military jobs for the benefit of others, There are differences in the assessment of the reality of the practice of the mother anarchist pattern for the benefit of those who work, There is a direct correlation between the practice of the democratic pattern in the family leadership and the educational achievement of the children.
