This study is aimed to identify levels of auditory comprehension of the fourth-grade students in the city of Taif, and investigate the impact of variables of natural article and speed display and number of views on the average of student achievement in auditory comprehension. Study subjects consist of (29) students of the fourth-grade students, they have chosen intentionally, and divided into two groups: Experimental studied the four listening texts (Two texts are stories and the other two poems), and control studied using the usual method. To achieve the objective of the study, the researcher prepared a test to measure the level of auditory comprehension, the validity of the test was verified. After the appropriate statistical analysis, the study results showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (a = 0.05) between experimental and control groups at all auditory comprehension levels, the researcher recommended to employ the variety of the material nature, the speed of presentation and the number of times in teaching listening.
