The present study aimed at using a cooperative learning strategy in improving phonological awareness and reading in children with dyslexia. The study sample consisted of (12) children aged between 8 and 10 years, of which 7 were females and 5 were reading disabilities who had weak reading. They were divided into two experimental groups, (6) children and a control group consisting of (6) children from the schools of management AbuSwir educational Ismailia, the average age of time (9.11) years. The study used the semi-experimental approach and the application of the study tools and the comparison between the two groups. The study showed an improvement in the phonological awareness and reading of the children in the experimental group, which in turn affects their interaction with others and their surroundings, indicating the impact of the program on the children of this group.
