This study aims for the following: Identifying role of School principal for developing the leading skills (Initiative, Innovation, Taking Decision and responsibility) for High School Students in principals' point of view. Discovering obstacles of performing role of the principal for developing leading skills. Study Curriculum: for achieving aims of this study, the researcher used the survey descriptive curriculum by application of questionnaire to all study society including all school principals of Governmental High School, about (139) principals. The questionnaire consists (32) phrases, to be distributed in two elements: Role of School principal in developing the leading skills to high school students and the second element for: obstacles of performing role of the principal for developing leading skills of students. The most important results are as follows: Role of the principal for developing leading skills to high school students is of high degree, and role of principal in developing responsibility shouldering skills is in the first rank, after that role of principal in developing Initiative and Innovation skills, and the last rank is the role of principal in developing taking decision skills. Obstacles of performing role of the principal for developing leading skills are of high degree. Study recommendations include: Keen on linking society firms with school. Authorizing some of principal's authorities to assistant administrative staff in order to perform some vested duties. The supervisory authorities shall consider learning with leading skills, method of discovering and developing them with students. There is a necessity that the officers of preparing the school curriculum shall consider leading culture. (Published Abstract)
