هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على دوافع اختيار أولياء الأمور للمدرسة الأهلية أو العالمية لأبنائهم من دون غيرها، وكذلك التعرف على مدى رضا أولياء الأمور عن مختلف عناصر الخدمة التعليمية المقدمة لأبنائهم من المدرسة الأهلية أو العالمية. وخلصت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج، أهمها: إنّ أولياء الأمور الذين يختارون المدارس العالمية يدفعهم إلى ذلك اهتمام المدرسة العالمية بتدريس اللغة الإنجليزية بأساليب حديثة، ووجود وسائل نقل للطلاب من المنزل إلى المدرسة والعكس. وفيما يتعلق بدرجة رضا أولياء الأمور عن الخدمات التعليمية المقدمة لأبنائهم من قبل المدارس الأهلية أو العالمية، فقد بينت الدراسة أن أهم عناصر الخدمات التعليمية التي حازت على مستوى عال من رضا أولياء الأمور تمثلت في التزام المدرسة بتسليم الكتب الدراسية للطلاب في الوقت المحدد، ويلي ذلك موقع المدرسة. وفي النهاية قدمت الدراسة مجموعة من التوصيات أهمها: ضرورة اهتمام مالكي ومسؤولي المدارس الأهلية والعالمية بإعداد برنامج لاستقبال أولياء الأمور الراغبين في زيارة المدرسة بهدف الاطّلاع على خدماتها وأنشطتها، وإظهار نقاط قوة المدرسة من قدرات أكاديمية وقدرات تشغيلية، وكذلك تعظيم درجة رضا الطلاب وأولياء أمورهم عن الخدمات المقدمة في مدارسهم من جميع النواحي، وأهمها الالتزام بتسليم الكتب الدراسية في موعدها والانضباط في مواعيد النقل المدرسي، وكذلك ملاءمة الفصل الدراسي مع عدد الطلاب. This study aimed to determine the motives why are particular schools rather than others were chosen by parents, measure the extent of parents satisfaction regarding the various elements of the educational service provided by private\ international schools. The study came up with a set of findings, Parents who choose international schools are attracted by careful adoption of modern teaching methods for English, and the availability of school provided means of transport for students from home to school and back. In terms of the extent of parents satisfaction regarding educational services provided by private/ international schools or, the study showed that the most important elements of educational services which have earned a high level of satisfaction of parents was the school’s commitment to deliver textbooks to students in a timely manner, followed by the location of the school, In the end, the study made a series of recommendations, including the owners and officials of private and international schools must design program to reception Parents who wish to visit the school their goal of the visit to identify the school services and activities. also promote the students and parents satisfaction degree with the services provided in schools in all respects, the most important of which is the commitment to deliver textbooks in time and discipline in the school transportation punctuality as well as the optimizing the number of students per classroom size.
