The teaching profession requires certain personal characteristics of those who carried out. Personality consists of the total physical and mental qualities and moods, social and moral. All of these qualities when meet in teacher in positive way, help him much to success in his teaching profession. That is because of the important role of teachers in preparing students for life and professional process. As the teaching profession precedes other professions in the character formation of individuals before they reach the age of specialization in any profession, all the community members who take responsibilities in various fields, were no doubt inspired from the personalities of their teachers and the values they planted in them. Hence the concern of well-chosen teacher who enjoys personal traits that help him to gain success and performance in his career. In this context, many researchers have stressed that the objectivity is an essential feature for the efficiency at work, and make university professor successful and performant in teaching practices. Therefore, this study proceeded to measure the objective level of Algerian university professors, as well as measuring the differences in the substantive level of objectivity depending on certain variables such as: sex, seniority in teaching, academic specialization, scientific qualification.
