هدفت الدراسة إلى تعرف واقع الإدمان على وسائل التكنولوجيا الحديثة لدى طلبة جامعة إربد الأهلية في ضوء متغيرات الجنس، ومستوى التحصيل، ودخل الأسرة. تكونت عينة الدراسة من 505 من طلبة جامعة إربد الأهلية اختيروا عشوائياً. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة، استخدمت استبانة الإدمان على وسائل التكنولوجيا الحديثة المطورة من الباحث. أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن مستوى الإدمان على وسائل التكنولوجيا الحديثة لدى طلبة جامعة إربد الأهلية كان مرتفعاً حيث جاء بُعدضبطالسلوك في المرتبة الأولى، يليه بُعدالتجنب في المرتبة الثانية، وبُعد العزلة الاجتماعية في المرتبة الثالثة، وبُعد الحرمان من وسائل التكنولوجيافي المرتبة الرابعة. أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق تعزى إلى متغيرات الجنس، ومستوى التحصيل، ودخل الأسرة وفي ضوء النتائج تم تقديم بعض التوصيات. The research aims to study the relationship between the reality of modern technology addiction and some variables such as gender, the educational level, and the family income at Irbid national university students. The study sample consisted of 505 interviewees who were chosen randomly of Irbid national university. In order to achieve the aim of the study, the addiction tool, which was developed by the researcher, was used to measure that. The results of the study showed that the level of addiction at Irbid national university students was high, after adjusting the behavior in the first place, followed by avoidance in the second place, social isolation in third place, and denial of media in the fourth place. The results of this research also showed that the level of modern technology addiction at Irbid national university students is high. Moreover, the results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences (α ≤ 0.05) due to gender, level of education, and family income. In light of the results, some recommendations were introduced. (Published Abstract)
