The purpose of this study is to investigate the administrative style catalyst for excellence in Irbid governorate school principals from the point view of the teachers who won Queen Rania Al-Abdallah award for distinguished teacher. To achieve the aim of the study the researcher developed two questionnaires to collect date from the sample. The population of the study consisted of al male and female teachers who won Queen Rania Award in 2006 until the schooling year 2011/2012 totaling (55) male and female teachers, thy were all chosen as the sample of the study. The findings of the study were the winner teachers agreed that there are several administrative styles motivating creativity and excellence that the principal must adopt, those are, applying rules and regulation in a flexible manner, encouraging teachers to be initiative and team work in order to develop the school, distributing work load equally, following up with teachers, issuing decisions according to rules and regulations, increasing teachers’ motivation and reveling his role as a teacher, employing human relationships and easy work as well as taking teachers’ condition in consideration and managing responsibility by the manager. The degree of evaluation of winner teachers for the motivating administrative style was high with a mean of (3.76) as planning domain came in the first rank followed by coordination and guiding while observation and evaluation came in the last rank. And There were no significant statistical differences between the means of teachers responses for the motivating administrative style among school principals in Irbid governorate attributed to gender, scientific qualification, rank and teaching experience while, there were differences attributed to age variable.(Published Abstract)
