مقدمة: يعد التبول اللاإرادي مشكلة من المشكلات النفسية التي تؤثر على شخصية الطفل، وتحتاج إلى إلقاء المزيد من الضوء عليها ومعرفة مدى تأثيرها على شخصية الطفل. المشكلة: يمكن صياغة مشكلة الدراسة في التساؤلات الآتية: هل يوجد علاقة بين مفهوم الذات وقلق المستقبل لدى عينة من الأطفال الذين يعانون من التبول اللاإرادي؟ وكذلك بالنسبة للأطفال العاديين؟ وهل يوجد اختلاف بين تينك العينتين (الأطفال العاديين والأطفال الذين يعانون من التبول اللاإرادي)؟ الهدف: تهدف الدراسة إلى المعرفة والكشف على العلاقة بين مفهوم الذات وقلق المستقبل لدى عينة الدراسة من الأطفال، وذلك من خلال الإجابة على التساؤلات في ضوء ما توصلت له نتائج الدراسة. الأدوات: مقياس مفهوم الذات (عادل عز الدين الأشول، 2015)، مقياس الذكاء غير اللفظي (طه المستكاوي، 2000)، مقياس المستوى الاقتصادي الثقافي الاجتماعي (محمد البحيري، 2002)، مقياس قلق المستقبل (إعداد فريق البحث). العينة: تكونت عينة الدراسة الحالية من 120 طفلا وطفلة ممن تتراوح أعمارهم بين 9- 12 عاما. المنهجية: استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي المقارن. النتائج: يوجد ارتباط دال إحصائيا بين متوسطات درجات عينة الدراسة على مقياسي مفهوم الذات وقلق المستقبل، ويوجد فروق ذوات دلالة إحصائية بين الأطفال الذين يعانون من التبول اللاإرادي وبين الأطفال العاديين على مقياسي مفهوم الذات وقلق المستقبل؛ ولا يوجد فروق ذوات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات عينة الدراسة من الأطفال الذين يعانون من التبول اللاإرادي من الذكور والإناث على مقياس مفهوم الذات؛ وجود فروق ذوات دلالة إحصائية بين الذكور والإناث على مقياس قلق المستقبل بالنسبة للأطفال العاديين، بينما لا يوجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الذكور والإناث على مقياس قلق المستقبل بالنسبة للأطفال الذين يعانون من التبول اللاإرادي. Introduction: Nocturnal enuresis considers one of the most and a critical psychological problem that affects, a child’s personality and requires more focus and concern to identify its impact on children. Problem: The current study problem could be crystallized Jin the following questions: Is there any relationship between self- concept and future anxiety in a sample of children who suffer from nocturnal enuresis and normal children? And are there any differences between the two sample of nocturnal enuresis and normal children? Objective: The current study drives at defining and exploring the relationship between self- concept and future anxiety in a sample of children who suffer from nocturnal enuresis. Instruments: Scale of Self- Concept for Children (Adel Ezz El- Dint 2015), Asuit University Scale for Non- Verbal Intelligence (Taha El- Mestekawy, 2000), Scale of the Socio- Economic and Cultural Level (Mohamed El- Behairy, 2002), Scale of Future Anxiety for Children (researcher). Sample: It is consistent of 120Male/Females children aged 9- 12 year olds. Results: There is a significant statistical correlation between average scores of the study sample on scales of self- concept and future anxiety. There are significant statistical differences between the average scores of children who suffer from nocturnal enuresis and normal children on scales of future anxiety and self- concept. There are no significant statistical differences between the average scores males and females suffering from nocturnal enuresis on scale of self- concept; while there are significant statistical differences between average scores of normal male and female children on scale of future anxiety. There are no significant statistical differences between males and females of children who suffer from nocturnal enuresis and normal children on scale of future anxiety. (Published abstract)
