نبعت فكرة الدراسة من الدورات التدريبية المرتبطة بالمنهج الوطني الكويتي الجديد، وهدفت لمعرفة ملاءمة برنامج التدريب على المنهج الوطني الجديد من وجهة نظر المعلمين، وبالتحديد معلمي مادة الرياضيات. استخدم الباحثان المنهج الوصفي التحليلي من خلال تطبيق استبيان يتكون من 68 بندا، وتم توزيع البنود على 5 محاور رئيسية تناولت: أهمية برنامج التدريب، أهداف برنامج التدريب، خطة برنامج التدريب، تنفيذ برنامج التدريب، وتنمية مهارات تقويم المنهج الجديد؛ تم تطبيق الاستبيان عشوائيا على عينة من المشاركين بلغت 135 من معلمي مادة الرياضيات، (47 معلما و88 معلمة). وأسفرت نتائج الدراسة عما يأتي: 1) يوافق معلمو الرياضيات المشاركون في الدراسة على أهمية برنامج التدريب على المنهج الوطني الجديد بدرجة "كبيرة". 2) تقدير المعلمين المشاركين لملاءمة محاور برنامج التدريب على المنهج الوطني الجديد، والبرنامج ككل بدرجة "مناسبة إلى حد ما". 3) لا توجد فروق ذوات دلالة إحصائية في استجابات المعلمين المرتبطة بملاءمة محاور (الأهمية، الأهداف، والتقويم) تبعا لمتغير الجنس، ولكن توجد فروق ذوات دلالة إحصائية مرتبطة بملاءمة محوري (الخطة والتنفيذ)، لصالح المعلمين الذكور. 4) لا توجد فروق ذوات دلالة إحصائية في استجابات المعلمين المرتبطة بملاءمة محاور برنامج التدريب تبعاً لمتغير سنوات الخبرة. The idea of the study started from the training sessions of the new Kuwaitis’ national curriculum, and aimed to identify if the raining program on the new Kuwaiti national curriculum was appropriate from the teachers’ point of view, specifically mathematics teachers. The researchers used the descriptive analytical approach through the application of a questionnaire consisting of 68 items, distributed on 5 main dimensions: the importance of the training program, the objectives of the training program, the training program plan, the implementation of the training program, and the development of evaluating the new curriculum skills; The questionnaire involved 135 mathematics teachers, 47 males and 88 females. The findings of the study were: 1) The participants agree on the importance of the training program on the new national curriculum to a large extent. 2) They believe that the training program dimensions were appropriate to a certain degree. 3) There are no statistically significant differences in the responses of teachers related to the appropriateness of the (importance, goals, and evaluation) dimensions according to the gender difference. However, there are significant differences to the (plan and implementation) in favor of the males teachers. 4) There are no statistically significant differences in the responses of teachers associated with the appropriateness of all the dimensions of the program according to the years of experience differences.
