هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على معوقات الإنتاجية العلمية لدى أعضاء هيئة التدريس بكلية التربية بجامعة جدة من وجهة نظرهم, واتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، واستخدمت الاستبانة كأداة لجمع بيانات الدراسة وتحقيق أهدافها، حيث قام الباحث بتصميم استبانة تكونت من (46) عبارة موزعة على أربعة أبعاد، تم التحقق من صدقها وثباتها، وتم تطبيقها على عينة من أعضاء هيئة التدريس بكلية التربية بجامعة جدة بلغ عددهم (80) عضو هيئة تدريس، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج، أهمها: جاءت درجة تأثير المعوقات الجامعية والمعوقات المجتمعية على الإنتاجية العلمية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس بكلية التربية بجامعة جدة بدرجة كبيرة، بينما جاء تأثير المعوقات الشخصية، ومعوقات النشر العلمي بدرجة متوسطة، وجاء تأثير المعوقات المجتمعية في الترتيب الأول من حيث درجة الإعاقة للإنتاجية العلمية، بينما جاءت معوقات النشر العلمي في الترتيب الأخير، وقد وجدت فروق دالة إحصائيًا تعزى لاختلاف الرتبة العلمية في أبعاد: المعوقات الجامعية والمعوقات الشخصية والمعوقات المجتمعية ومعوقات النشر العلمي، ومعظمها لصالح رتبة أستاذ مساعد، ووجدت فروق دالة إحصائيًا تعزى لاختلاف عدد سنوات الخدمة في بعُد المعوقات الجامعية، ولصالح من خدمتهم من (1–5) سنوات؛ والذين عدد سنوات خدمتهم (أكثر من 10 سنوات)، بينما لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائيًا في أبعاد المعوقات المجتمعية؛ والمعوقات الشخصية؛ ومعوقات النشر العلمي تعزى لاختلاف عدد سنوات الخدمة، ولا توجد فروق دالة إحصائيًا حول معوقات الإنتاجية العلمية تعزى لمتغير الجامعة لعضو هيئة التدريس الحاصل على درجة الدكتوراه منها، ووجود فروق دالة إحصائيًا تعزى لمتغير الجنسية في أبعاد المعوقات الجامعية، والمعوقات الشخصية؛ والمعوقات المجتمعية؛ بينما لا توجد فروق داله إحصائيًا تعزى لمتغير الجنسية في بُعد معوقات النشر العلمي، وأوصت الدراسة بعدة توصيات من أهمها: زيادة الدعم المالي المخصص للإنتاج العلمي. The purpose of the study was to investigate the obstacles of academic productivity of faculty members in the education college at Jeddah University as perceived by them. The study adopted the descriptive analytical approach by using a questionnaire to collect data. The researcher developed the questionnaire which consisted of (46) items and were distributed over four themes. The questionnaire was checked for its validity and reliability. Then, it was administrated to a sample of (80) faculty members in the education faculty at Jeddah University. The findings of the study were as follows: The effect of university and society obstacles on academic productivity was given a high rate. On the other hand, the effect of personal obstacles and academic publication received an average rate. The society obstacles were ranked first, while academic publication obstacles were in the last rank. There were statistically significant differences which were attributed to the differences in academic rank in the obstacles related to university, society and personal and academic publication in favor of the assistant professor rank. There were also statistically significant differences that were attributed to years of experience in university obstacles in favor of (1-5) years experience and (more than 10 years) experience. On the other hand, there were no differences in university, society and personal obstacles. There were no statistically significant differences attributed to the variable of the university from which the faculty members got their PhD degree. In addition, there were statistically significant differences attributed to nationality in university, personal and society obstacles while there were no differences in the variable of academic publication. The study recommended the need to increase funds to be allocated for academic productivity. (Published Abstract)
