The study aimed at finding out the obstacles to the use of electronic learning technology in the adult education programs and identifying the extent of difference between the viewpoints of the study subjects in the light of a number of variables the study followed the descriptive analytical method which is based on field study .The study population was composed of the non-native students of Arabic language in the faculty whose number was (66) .To achieve the purpose of the study ,a questionnaire was designed which consisted of (17) statements and was administered after it was assured for validity and reliability on a sample of (43) students. The data collected was analyzed through statistical packages for social sciences programme, (spss). The study reached at a group of findings. One of the most important of them [is that there are obstacles to the use of electronic learning technology in the adult education programmes at faculty of education (Hantoub) University of Gezira. The obstacles are lack of suitable teacher training in using electronic learning technology and teacher’ belief that using such technology is something secondary. Anther findings is that there are no differences with statistical significance between the viewpoints of the study subjects as to the use of electronic learning technology with the variables of educational level and specialization .another finding is that there are differences with statistical significance between the viewpoints of study subjects as to the use of electronic learning technology with the variable of age to the advantage of the age between 20-and 29, in the light of the above –mentioned findings, the two researchers gave some recommendations . One of them is that more studies should be carried out about the role of electronic learning technology in solving the problems of adult education. (Published Abstract)
