The study examines important historical period in the development of graduate studies in psychology movement in Sudan, which aims to explore the reality of scientific supervision of master and doctoral thesis in psychology Sudanese universities in the period from 1980 – 2005, according to bibliographic method. The number of theses reviewed reached (567) a master dissertation it is percentage is (80.3) and (139) doctorate theses is percentage is (19.7) these numbers are all high graduate output in psychology in Sudan during this period. The study revealed the following results: 1. the singular supervision of dissertations and there is prevailing in Sudan during this period. 2. Assistance professor supervised on about (68%) of master desertions and (22%) of doctorate theses. 3. 82.4% of psychology dissertations and theses supervised by male professors. 4. about (15%) of dissertations and theses supervised by un-Sudanese professors. 5. Most early supervisor on master dissertations were assistance professors, followed by participate professors, while most early supervisors on decorate theses were professors, followed by participate professors. 6. (84%) dissertations and theses are without second supervisors, the distribution of second supervisor is; the assistance professors is (12%) in master and participate professors in doctorate are (2%), whereas most these are without third supervisor. 7. about (20%) of chief supervisors of master their basic specialization is not psychology, while (17%) of chief supervisors of doctorate their basic specialization is not psychology. 8. The results concluded and interpreted, also some recommendations and interpreted, also some recommendations and future research suggestions were presented which may develop the supervisors on theses of masters and doctorates in psychology in Sudan.
