The research aims to identify the effectiveness of the web-based cognitive trips for absorbing and developing the conceptual contemplative thinking skills through studying jurisprudence for the al-Azhar secondary stage students. The sample of the study was 61 students who were chosen from the abo el Goor secondary Azhar institute in Kafr el sheikh, Garbia. The sample was divided equally into two main groups; the control group and the experimental group. A teacher's guide was prepared about purity field in using web-based malkey jurisprudence knowledge trips. The researcher used the following tools: 1- a list of terms from jurisprudence from the secondary one Azhar curriculum. 2- a list of contemplative thinking skills that suits grade one secondary stage. 3- a conceptual maintaining test ( 40 multiple choice items). 4- a contemplative thinking skills test prepared by the researcher (30 multiple choice items). The researcher depends on the semi-experimental curriculum (quasi- experimental) as the two groups were equivalent. The t-test was successfully applied. The same test was applied twice for each group once before the experiment and another one after the experiment. However the control group was taught by the traditional method, the experimental group was taught by using the web based cognitive trips. The data was statistically analyzed and the results revealed that the web-based cognitive trips were proved to be effective for the Azhar secondary stage students. The researcher has some recommendations as follows: 1-the importance of using web-based cognitive trips in teaching jurisprudence in different stages. 2-organizing training courses for law teachers to train them how to activate and use web based knowledge trip.
