The aim of this study was to identify lexical ability of learners and its impact on reading comprehension. Data collection has been distributed in three tests on randomly selected sample, comprising (100) students studying in the sixth year of primary education schools. The researcher also utilized interview technique directed to teachers who teach the same level. Employing statistical method of both types: descriptive and probability statistics, it was found that learners sample suffer from weakness in their lexical ability, which reflected negatively on their Reading Comprehension. The weakness of their reading comprehension was also influenced by the average difficulty of text vocabulary. The results also showed a positive correlation between lexical learners ability and reading comprehension. (Published Abstract)
