هدفت هذه الدراسة بشكل رئيس إلى الكشف عن درجة إسهام المعلمين والمعلمات في صناعة القرارات في مدارس محافظة سلفيت من وجهة نظرهم، ولجمع البيانات أعد الباحث استبانة فحص صدقها من قبل متخصصين وبمعامل ثبات (0.80) ، وجرى توزيعها على عينة الدراسة البالغة (200) معلما ومعلمة بنسبة (20%) من مجتمع الدراسة، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي وبرنامج الرزمة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية، بما فيها المتوسطات الحسابية والانحرافات المعيارية وتحليل التباين الأحادي للتحقق من صحة فرضيات الدراسة، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى نتائج عدة من أهمها: 1) عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α ≤ 0.05) في استجابات معلمي ومعلمات المدارس الثانوية في محافظة سلفيت تعزى إلى متغيرات (الجنس، والعمر، وسنوات الخدمة، ومكان العمل باستثناء البعد الثالث حول القرارات المتعلقة بالطلبة لصالح مدارس قرى غرب سلفيت). 2) درجة إسهام المعلمين والمعلمات في صناعة القرارات في مدارس محافظة سلفيت كانت مرتفعة على الأبعاد الأربعة الأولى، ومتوسطة على البعد الخامس والدرجة الكلية. 3) وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α ≤ 0.05) في استجابات معلمي ومعلمات المدارس الثانوية في محافظة سلفيت تعزى إلى متغير المرحلة الدراسية على الأبعاد (1،2،3،4) لصالح فئة ثانوية، ولم توجد فروق على البعد الخامس المتعلق بمعوقات إسهام المعلمين والمعلمات في صناعة القرارات في المدرسة. وفي ضوء نتائج الدراسة فقد خرج الباحث بتوصيات من أهمها: 1) حث مديري ومديرات المدارس على استخدام الأساليب العلمية الحديثة في صناعة القرار في المدارس، ورفع درجة مشاركة المعلمين والمعلمات في القرارات المدرسية. 2) العمل على إزالة المعوقات التي تحد من مشاركة مديري المدارس ومديراتها للمعلمين في عملية صناعة القرار. 3) إجراء مزيد من الدراسات على مدارس المحافظات الأخرى. This study aimed at investigating the degree of teachers' participation in decision making in Salfeet governorate schools from their viewpoint. To collect the necessary data, the researcher prepared a questionnaire which was valid and constant with coefficient 80%,and distributed to the study sample which was 200 teachers formed 20% of the study population. To test the study hypothesis, the researcher used the analytical descriptive methodology and statistical package for social sciences (SPSS), including arithmetic mediations, standard deviations, (t) test and ANOVA, and the study revealed: 1) The degree of teachers’ participation in decision making in Salfeet governorate schools from their viewpoint was high for the first four dimensions and moderate for the fifth dimension and for the total degree of all dimensions. 2) There was no significant differences in the teachers' responds toward the degree of their participation in decision making in Salfeet governorate schools at statistical level (α≤0.05) attributed to the variables (Sex, Age, Period of Service, Place of work except on the third dimension for the favor of western villages of Salfeet governorate schools. 3) There was significant differences in the teachers' responds toward the degree of their participation in decision making in Salfeet governorate schools at statistical level (α≤0.05) attributed to the variable scholastic stage on the first fourth dimensions for secondary stage favor, and there was no differences on the fifth dimension. In the light of study results, the researcher suggests several recommendations, here the important ones: 1) Encourage principals of schools to apply modern scientific methods in decision-making, and raise their participation in it. 2) Erase all the obstacles which impedes principals from participate teachers in decision-making process.
