هدفت الدراسة الحالية الى دراسة أثر ممارسة الألعاب الالكترونية على الذكاء اللغوي والاجتماعي لدى أطفال مرحلة الطفولة المتوسطة بالمملكة العربية السعودية، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (233) تلميذاً وتلميذة من تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية بست مدارس بمحافظات (الرياض، المدينة المنورة، الخرج) ، وتم تطبيق أدوات الدراسة التي تمثلت في استبانة ممارسة الألعاب الالكترونية (من اعداد الباحثة)، ومقياس الذكاء اللغوي (من اعداد الباحثة) ومقياس الذكاء الاجتماعي (من اعداد الباحثة) على أفراد العينة، وقد توصلت النتائج الى عدم وجود فروق دالة احصائياً بين أفراد العينة الذين يمارسون الألعاب الالكترونية والذين لا يمارسون على مقياس الذكاء اللغوي ، بينما وجدت فروق دالة احصائياً بين أفراد العينة الذين يمارسون الألعاب الالكترونية والذين لا يمارسون على مقياس الذكاء الاجتماعي لصالح الذين يمارسون ، كما أوضحت النتائج عدم وجود فروق دالة احصائياً تعزي لمتغير الجنس بين متوسطات درجات أفراد العينة الذين يمارسون الألعاب الالكترونية على مقياس الذكاء اللغوي ،بينما وجدت فروق دالة احصائياً تعزي لمتغير الجنس بين متوسطات درجات أفراد العينة الذين يمارسون الألعاب الالكترونية على مقياس الذكاء الاجتماعي ،وأخيراً أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق دالة احصائياً تعزي لمتغير المدينة بين متوسطات درجات أفراد العينة الذين يمارسون الألعاب الالكترونية على كلا من مقياس الذكاء اللغوي ومقياس الذكاء الاجتماعي، وخرجت الدراسة بمجموعة من التوصيات والمقترحات. The present study aimed to examine the impact of the practice of electronic games on the linguistic and social intelligence of children of middle childhood at Saudi Arabia, the study sample consisted of (233) pupils of the primary school students in six schools of the provinces (Riyadh, Madinah, Al-Kharj), was applied tools the study, which was to identify the practice of Electronic Games (prepared by the researcher), and the measure of linguistic intelligence (prepared by the researcher) and the measure of social intelligence (prepared by the researcher) on the respondents, The results showed that there were not statistically significant differences between who practicing the electronic games and those who do not practice on the linguistic intelligence scale, while found statistically significant differences between the respondents who are practicing the electronic games and those who do not practice on the social intelligence scale ,Results showed that there were statistically significant differences attributed to sex between mean scores of respondents who engage in gaming on linguistic intelligence scale. While found statistically significant differences attributed to sex between mean scores of respondents who engage in gaming on the social intelligence scale and, finally, the results showed that there were statistically significant differences attributed to the city between the mean scores of respondents who engage in gaming on both linguistic intelligence scale and scale social intelligence.
