This study aims at investigating the effect of think-pair-share strategy on the attainment of the fifth literary grade in the subject of history in the academic year 2015-2016. The sample of the study consisted of two groups: control group and experimental group. Each group consisted of 30 students. The researcher used the attainment exam as a tool to this study. The study concluded the efficiency of this strategy in developing the attainment of the fifth literary grade students in the subject of history. The study recommended the following: 1) Adopting think-pair-share strategy in teaching the subject of history for the fifth literary grade. 2) Opening classes and workshops for the teachers on using active teaching strategy in general and think-pair-share strategy in particular.
