تهدف الدراسة إلى التعرّف على مدى توافر معايير الجودة في كتب الفقه في المرحلة المتوسطة. ولتحقيق أغراض الدراسة، قام الباحث ببناء قائمة من المعايير لجودة الكتب المدرسية، وقد اشتملت هذه القائمة على سبعة مجالات هي: (مقدمة الكتاب، الأهداف، المحتوى، الأنشطة والوسائل التعليمية، شكل الكتاب وإخراجه، خصوصية كتاب الفقه، التقويم). ويندرج تحت هذه المجالات السبعة عدد من المؤشرات، بلغت 144 مؤشرا معياريا؛ وقد بينت نتائج الدراسة أن جميع المجالات حظيت بنسب مئوية تراوحت بين المتوسطة والضعيفة جدًا. وقد حاز مجال شكل الكتاب وإخراجه المرتبة الأولى من حيث الترتيب؛ يلي ذلك مجال خصوصية كتاب الفقه، ثم المحتوى، ثم الأنشطة والوسائل التعليمية، ثم التقويم، بنسب (متوسطة)؛ وحاز مجالا الأهداف والمقدمة المرتبتين الأخيرتين، بنسب (ضعيفة جدّا). The study aims to explore the presence of quality standards in Jurisprudence textbooks taught in Saudi middle schools. To that end, the researcher prepared a set of quality standards based on related literature review along with the assistance of some specialists in the field. Having grouped and verified the validity and reliability of 144 indicators, the researcher classified them into seven standards; namely: 1) book introduction, 2) objectives, 3) content, 4) activities and teaching aids, 5) book format and layout, 6) particularity of Islamic Jurisprudence textbooks and 7) assessment. Findings revealed that textbooks obtained either medium or very weak scores in all standards. With this average level, book format came on top of all standards followed by particularity of Islamic Jurisprudence textbooks, content, activities and visual aids, then assessment. On the other hand, objectives and introduction standards were at the bottom of the list with very weak scores.(Published Abstract)
