The study aims at identifying multiple intelligences in relation to some academic variables among Islamic University students. To achieve the study aim, the researcher designed a valid and reliable tool and administered it to a sample that consisted of (200) males and (304) females. They were selected in the second semester of the academic year, 2012-2013. Results indicated that social intelligence is the dominant intelligence (89.8%), followed respectively by intrapersonal intelligence (86.4%), linguistic intelligence (84.6%), existential intelligence (82.8%), bodily-kinesthetic intelligence (81.8%), spatial intelligence (81.2%), naturalistic intelligence (78.8%), logical intelligence (77.4%), and musical intelligence (71.6%). Moreover, the study revealed that there were statistically significant differences in logical, social, and bodily-kinesthetic intelligences in favor of males and existential, linguistic, and spatial intelligences in favor of females. Additionally, there were statistically significant differences among students in linguistic intelligence attributed to GPA. It was also shown that there were statistically significant differences in some types of intelligence attributed to academic specialization, as students of natural specializations outperformed others in social, logical and spatial intelligences, whereas students of human sciences outperformed others in linguistic intelligence. Furthermore, there were statistically significant differences in linguistic, social, intrapersonal intelligences attributed to academic level in favor of fourth level. (Published Abstract)
