The purpose of the study is to identify solutions for the academic and administrative problems faced by freshmen students at the branch of the Arab Open University. A questionnaire was administered for two consecutive semester and was distributed on a sample of (240) freshmen students and (91) Faculty members. The findings of the study revealed that freshmen student experienced administrative problems, and they also experienced some personal and academic problems such as : deficiency English language skills, lack of academic monitoring . Fear of the difficulty of the final test questions prepared by the headquarters of the University . The results revealed that there are statistically significant differences between students sample were found due to sex, the regional office .Based on the findings the study recommended to implement a mandatory one week orientation workshop for all newly enrolled students.
