المشكلة: هل توجد علاقة بين التوافق الزواجي وبعض سمات شخصية الأبناء (مفهوم الذات- تحمل المسؤولية- العدوانية)؟ الهدف: الكشف عن العلاقة بين التوافق الزواجي وبعض سمات شخصية الأبناء (العدوان- مفهوم الذات- تحمل المسؤولية) للمرحلة العمرية 12- 15 عاماً، والتوصل للفروق بين الجنسين في السمات الشخصية التالية: (العدوان- مفهوم الذات- تحمل المسؤلية). المنهج: الوصفي الارتباطي والمقارن. العينة: تتكون العينة من 200 طفل وطفلة (100 طفل و100 طفلة) في المرحلة العمرية من 12- 15 عاماً، وتنتمي العينة إلى أسر مكونة من أب وأم وأبناء، وأن يكون الطفل مقيماً مع أسرته مع استبعاد حالات الطلاق والانفصال أو سفر أو موت أحد الوالدين. الأدوات: مقياس التوافق الزواجي كما يدركه الأبناء (إعداد حنان ثابت مدبولي، 2002، تعديل الباحثين)، ومقياس السمات الشخصية. (إعداد فايزة يوسف عبد المجيد)، واستمارة بيانات أساسية للأبناء (إعداد فايزة يوسف عبد المجيد). النتائج: توجد علاقة ارتباطية دالة إحصائياً بين التوافق الزواجي كما يدركه الأبناء، وسمات الشخصية وهي (العدوانية- مفهوم الذات- تحمل المسؤولية)، وتوجد فروق ذوات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات التوافق الزواجي كما يدركه الأبناء باختلاف المستوى الإجتماعي التعليمي للوالدين، وتوجد فروق دالة إحصائياً بين متوسطات درجات التوافق الزواجي كما يدركه الأبناء تبعا لاختلاف عدد الأبناء في الأسرة، وتوجد فروق دالة إحصائياً بين متوسطات درجات سمات الشخصية تبعا لاختلاف النوع (ذكور- إناث). Problem: Is there any relationship between martial adjustment and some personality traits of children concerning (self concept- bearing responsibility- and aggression)? Objectives: The study drives at exploring the relationship between martial adjustment and some personality traits of children such as (self- concept- bearing responsibility- and aggression) for the age stage (12- 15) year olds. It also seeks identifying differences between the two sex regarding personality traits (self-concept-bearing responsibility-and aggression). Methods: The study uses the correlative- comparative method. Sample: It consists of 200 (Male/ Female) children, aged (12-15) year olds, they should be living with both parents, excluding travelling of one parent, or divorce and separation cases. Tools: Scale of Martial Adjustment as Perceived by Children (by Hanan Thabet Madbouly, 2002), Scale of Personality Traits (by Faiza Youssif Abdel Meged), and Basic Data Form for Children (by Faiza Youssif Abdel Meged). Results: There is a significant statistical correlation between marital adjustment as perceived by children and some personality traits of children regarding (Aggressiveness- Self- Concept- Bearing Responsibility). There are significant statistical differences in marital adjustment degree as perceived by children and some personality traits due to differences in parents’ social and cultural level, There are significant statistical differences is marital adjustment degree as perceived by children for difference in parents’ number of children, and There are significant statistical differences m personality traits due to difference in sex (Males- Females).
