The research aims to detect the degree of familiarity with the students the basic education department at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences in Elrass modern trends in the upbringing and education of people with Handicapped, researchers used the descriptive approach, and be the research community of students from basic education department Koranic studies disciplines, and the Arabic language, mathematics, science enrolled in the first dismissal in academic year 1437-1438h, and the number of research sample (274) students, use the questionnaire to collect research data included (24) items distributed on four axes, offset ladder Pentads my appreciation for the responses, and reached the search results to the students of the basic education department differ in familiarity with modern trends most common in the rearing and education of people with Handicapped in the transitional programs axes, modern technology, universal access, while they agree in the axis of the environment at least isolation, there are no statistically significant differences in the degree of familiarity with modern trends in the upbringing and education of people with Handicapped among students of basic education department attributed for sex differences, specialization, and academic level, the cumulative average in each of the axis of universal access, and transitional programs, modern technology, and no statistically significant differences in the degree of familiarity with modern trends in the upbringing and education of people with Handicapped due to the difference in sex, specialization, and the cumulative average at the center of at least isolation environment in favor of males, majoring mathematics, science, and with a cumulative grade point average is excellent, and good.
