This study aimed to reveal the trends of faculty members at the University of Tabuk toward online exams in light of some variables such as gender and specialization; It also sought to discover the difficulties and obstacles facing the faculty members in applying such types of exams. To achieve this goal, the researcher designed a questionnaire consisting of (20) items to measure the faculty members' attitudes towards online exams and identify the difficulties and obstacles that prevent them from applying online exams. The study has been applied on a random sample of (50) faculty members from the Faculty of Science representing the scientific disciplines and (50) faculty members from the College of Education and Arts representing the theoretical disciplines at the University of Tabuk. The results showed that faculty members have positive attitudes towards online exams but the inclinations of the female faculty members toward online exams were higher than their male counterparts. Also, the faculty members in the theoretical disciplines tendency toward online exams were higher than their colleagues in the scientific disciplines. The findings of the study have also proved that there are difficulties and obstacles encountered by faculty member in applying online exams. Based on these results, the study has recommended the establishment of a large exam center to serve all faculties and colleges at the University of Tabuk. It also has recommended to conduct a training program at the university level to train all faculty members on online exams; and to provide this center with the technical staff, needed hardware and software, and with the necessary equipment. In addition, the study has recommended performing many studies on this topic in other environments. (Published Abstract)
