The aim of this research is to construct a proposal to build institutional capacity at King Abdul-Aziz University in light of the multiple intelligences theory, by first identifying the knowledge and skills required to perform the administrative roles within the University and the multiple intelligences associated with these knowledge and skills, and then proposing a concept to develop the knowledge and skills required to perform the duties in the light of the stated theory. The methodology used in this research; tasks analysis tools and questionnaires to gain access to the results. The research sample comprises all administrative professions in the Deanships held within the female section at the female section at King Abdul-Aziz University in Jeddah (AL- Sulaimaniyah Area), which are listed under the title of "Director". The main conclusions of the research are that all knowledge and skills (capacity) required to perform the functions of administrative occupations are strongly linked with multiple intelligence indicators, and all the administrative functions with their titular diversity require, in descending ranking of importance, Logical-Mathematical intelligence, primarily, followed by Linguistic Intelligence and Visual (spatial) intelligence. Next is interpersonal intelligence, followed by intrapersonal intelligence, and finally Kinetic Intelligence. The research also concludes that the process of institutional capacity-building is primarily dependent on the individual’s capabilities which are the focus of the Multiple Intelligences Theory. In light of these results the researcher recommends the need for the relevant body at the University to implement planning and development programmers in order to enhance multiple intelligence among female administrators.
