هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على أثر وحدة تعليمية قائم على مبادئ التربية العالمية في معرفة طلبة الصف الثامن الأساسي لتلك المبادئ. ولتحقيق ذلك، فقد تكونت عينة للدراسة من 100 طالب من طلاب الصف الثامن الأساسي في أربع شعب من مدارس مديرية تربية قصبة الزرقاء للعام الدراسي 2008/ 2009م، حيث اختيرت شعبتان عشوائيا لتكوّنا المجموعة التجريبية وعدد طلابها 50 طالبا، واختيرت الشعبتان الأخريان بالطريقة نفسها لتكون المجموعة الضابطة وعدد طلابها 50 طالبا. واتخذ كعينة دراسة منهاج تاريخ العالم في العصور الحديثة للصف الثامن الأساسي. أظهرت النتائج في ضوء تحليل المحتوى الذي أجراه الباحث أن أكثر المبادئ التي توافرت في منهاج التاريخ للصف الثامن الأساسي كانت في مجال السلام العالمي، ثم مجال البلاد والثقافات الأخرى، فمجال حقوق الإنسان، فمجال الأمم المتحدة، وأخيرا مبادئ التربية العالمية في مجال الإنسان والبيئة. كما أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أيضا وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05=α) ولصالح المجموعة التجريبية على اختبار المعرفة لمبادئ التربية العالمية، بعد دراستها للوحدة المطوّرة من المنهاج المقترح. This study aims to impact a unit in history in the light of the global education principles on knowledge of eighth grade students of these principles. The study sample consisted of 100 eighth graders of four sections from schools of Zarqa Zone Directorate of Education during the school year 2008-2009. Two sections were randomly chosen to represent the experimental group that consisted of 50 students. The other two sections were also chosen in the same manner to represent the control group that consisted of 50 students. The study sample of the curricula was the Curriculum of the World History in the Modern Ages for the eighth graders. The results of this study showed, in the light of the content analysis carried out by the researcher, that the most available principle of global education in the history curriculum of the eighth basic grade were in the fields of Global Peace, Countries and Cultures, Human Rights, The UNO, and humans and the environment. The results further showed significant differences at the level α=0.05 favoring the experimental group, on the test of the knowledge of the principles of global education, pursuant their study of a unit of the developed curriculum.
