هدف البحث إلى التعرف على معوقات تنفيذ الأنشطة التعليمية المضمنة في مقررات العلوم للصفوف العليا من المرحلة الابتدائية في مدينة الرياض، المتعلقة بالبيئة المدرسية، والمقرر الدراسي، والطالبات، والمعلمات، من وجهة نظر المعلمات والمشرفات، والكشف عمّا إذا كان هناك فروق ذوات دلالة إحصائية بين استجابة أفراد العينة، تعزى للمتغيرات الآتية: (المؤهل- التخصص- سنوات الخبرة). استخدم الباحثان المنهج الوصفي المسحي بالاعتماد على الاستبانة لجمع البيانات، وتكوّن مجتمع البحث من: جميع مشرفات ومعلمات العلوم للصفوف العليا في مدينة الرياض، وتكونت عينة البحث من 48 مشرفة، و196 معلمة تم اختيارهن بطريقة عشوائية بسيطة. وتوصل البحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج، أهمها: وجود معوقات تحول دون تنفيذ الأنشطة التعليمية المضمنة في مقرّرات العلوم للصفوف العليا من المرحلة الابتدائية، ووجود فروق ذوات دلالة إحصائية بين استجابات أفراد العينة حول المعوقات المتعلقة بالمقرر الدراسي، تُعزى لاختلاف المؤهل العلمي والتخصص الأكاديمي؛ وكذلك حول المعوقات المتعلقة بالطالبات، تعزى لعدد سنوات الخبرة لأفراد العينة. كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذوات دلالة إحصائية بين استجابات أفراد العينة حول المعوقات المتعلقة بـ: البيئة المدرسية والطالبات، تعزى لاختلاف المؤهل العلمي والتخصص الأكاديمي، وكذلك حول المعوقات المتعلقة بـ: البيئة المدرسية والمقرر الدراسي والمعلمات، تعزى لعدد سنوات الخبرة لأفراد العينة. كما أوصى البحث بعدد من التوصيات، أهمها: تحسين وتطوير المباني المدرسية لكي تكون مكاناً أفضل للتعلم والتعليم، العمل على تدريب الطالبات على المهارات الأدائية العملية في العلوم، إعطاء الأولوية في تدريس العلوم لخريجات كلية التربية - تخصص علوم، لتدريس هذا المقرر في المرحلة الابتدائية. This study aimed at identifying the obstacles facing the implementation of educational activities included in the science curricula of upper classes of the elementary level in the city of Riyadh. The obstacles studied included the school environment, the school curriculum, the female students and the teachers and were measured according to the viewpoint of the teachers and supervisors. The study aimed at showing whether there were statistically significant differences between the responses of the study sample related to the following variables: (qualification- specialization- number of years of experience). The two researchers used the descriptive survey method and depended on questionnaires to collect data. The study population consisted of all the science supervisors and teachers of upper classes in the city of Riyadh. The study sample consisted of 48 supervisors and 196 teachers, who were chosen in a simple and random manner. The study revealed a number of results, most importantly: the presence of obstacles that prevent the implementation of educational activities included in the science curricula of upper classes of the elementary level. Also, there were statistically significant differences between the responses of the sample regarding the obstacles facing the curriculum which resulted from the differences in the scientific qualification and the academic specialization, as well as, obstacles related to the students which resulted from the number of years of experience of the study sample. The results also showed no statistically significant differences between the sample responses regarding the obstacles related to the school environment, school curriculum and teachers resulting from the number of years of experience of the sample. The study recommended the following: developing school buildings for better education, providing training for the students in practical science skills and giving priority to graduates of the school of education- majoring in science to teach the science subject for the elementary level.
