هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على معدلات الغياب لدى الطلاب المعلمين في جامعتي الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية والملك سعود في مدينة الرياض، والكشف عن العلاقة بين فئات كل محدد للخلفية الأسرية وحجم غيابهم، والعلاقة بين محددات الخلفية الأسرية وحجم غيابهم، بالإضافة إلى إبراز الفروق الدالة إحصائياً بين استجاباتهم نحو محددات الخلفية الأسرية بفعل متغيرات مؤسسة الإعداد، والمستوى الدراسي، وعمر الطالب، وسبب الغياب، وحجم الغياب. ولتحقيق هذه الأهداف، صمم الباحث استمارة مقابلة وطبقها على عينة عشوائية بسيطة تكونت من 576 طالباً، وتوصل إلى الآتي: 1) معدل الغياب (بدون عذر) لدى طلاب كلية العلوم الاجتماعية أكثر من نظرائهم في كليتي التربية والمعلمين بجامعة الملك سعود، بينما معدل غياب (بعذر) لدى طلاب الكليتين بالجامعة الثانية أعلى من طلاب كلية العلوم الاجتماعية بالجامعة الأولى. 2) معدل الغياب (بدون غياب، وقليل الغياب) لدى طلاب كلية العلوم الاجتماعية بالجامعة الأولى أقل من طلاب كليتي التربية والمعلمين بالجامعة الثانية، بينما كان معدل الغياب (متوسط الغياب، وكثير الغياب) أكثر لدى طلاب كلية العلوم الاجتماعية بالجامعة الأولى من نظرائهم في الكليتين بالجامعة الثانية. 3) اتضح من تطبيق (كا2) وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً بين فئات المحددين الاجتماعيين وهما: ولي أمر الطالب، والحالة الاجتماعية، وحجم غيابه، والمحددات الثقافية وهي: المشاركة في أنشطة الكلية وبرنامج الطالب بعد الخروج من الكلية، وساعات نومه، وحجم غيابه. أما بقية المحددات الاجتماعية والثقافية والمحددات الاقتصادية مجتمعة، فقد تبين عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً بين فئاتها وتغيب الطلاب عن كلياتهم. 4) اتضح من تطبيق معامل الارتباط لـ "بيرسون"، وجود علاقة دالة إحصائياً بين المحددات الاجتماعية وحجم غياب الطلاب، بينما لا توجد علاقة دالة إحصائياً بين المحددات الاقتصادية والثقافية وحجم الغياب. 5) اتضح من تطبيق تحليل التباين وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً بين استجابات عينة الدراسة نحو المحددات الاجتماعية بفعل المستوى الدراسي، بينما لا توجد علاقة بين استجاباتها نحو المحددات نفسها بفعل بقية المتغيرات. 6) اتضح وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً بين استجابات العينة نحو المحددات الاقتصادية بفعل متغيرات مؤسسة الإعداد والمستوى الدراسي وحجم الغياب، بينما لا توجد علاقة دالة إحصائيا بين، استجاباتها نحو المحددات الاقتصادية بفعل متغير عمر الطالب. This study aimed to identify rates of absenteeism among the student teachers at the Universities of Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University and King Saud University in Riyadh, and disclosure about the relationship between categories of each specific background family and the size of their absence, and the relationship between the determinants of family background and the size of their absence, as well as to highlight the differences function of statistical their responses towards the determinants of family background variables by setting institution, academic level, and age of the student, and the reason for absence, and the size of the absence. To achieve these objectives, the researcher designed an interview form and applied to a simple random sample consisted of 576 students, and concluded the following: Absenteeism (without excuse) for the students in the Faculty of Social Sciences, more than their counterparts in the faculties of education and teachers at King Saud University, while the rate of absence (excused) of students at the university last kidneys is higher than the students of the Faculty of Social Sciences University first. Absenteeism (without absence, and a few absences) to the students of the Faculty of Social Sciences University of the first less than students of the faculties of the Education and Teachers University in second, while the rate of absenteeism (average absenteeism, and many absences) than among students in the Faculty of Social Sciences, University first of their counterparts in the kidneys University II. It became clear from the application of (K 2) and statistically significant differences between the categories of designated social: the guardian of the student, and the social situation to him, and the size of his absence, and cultural determinants: participation in the activities of the college and the program of the student after coming out of college, and hours of sleep, and the size of his absence. The rest of the determinants of social, cultural and economic determinants together, it turns out there is no statistically significant differences between the categories and absent students for college.
