هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على العلاقة الارتباطية بين الذكاء الوجداني والقدرة على حل المشكلات لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الثانوية، وتكونت العينة من131 تلميذا وتلميذة اختيروا بطريقة عشوائية بسيطة من تلاميذ الثانية ثانوي بثانويتي هوراي بومدين وبرهوم الجديدة للعام الدراسي 2014/2013. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدم مقياس الذكاء الوجداني لعثمان ورزق(1998)، وقائمة حل المشكلات ل(هبنر) و(بيترسون) ترجمة وتقنين الصمادي(1992)، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة دالة احصائيا عند (0.01) بين أبعاد الذكاء الوجداني (إدارة الانفعالات، التعاطف، تنظيم الانفعالات المعرفة الانفعالية، والدرجة الكلية) والقدرة على حل المشكلات، ودالة إحصائيا عند (0.05) بين بعد التواصل الاجتماعي والقدرة على حل المشكلات. The study aimed to identify the relationship between emotional intelligence and problem _Solving ability among secondary school pupils. The sample study consisted of (131) male and female pupils. Second-Year pupils were selected using simple random sampling from Houari Boumediene and New Barhom secondary schools for the academic year ) 2013-2014). In order to achieve the study goals, Emotional Intelligence Scale prepared by Osman & Rizk (1998 ) and Personal Problem _Solving Inventory (PPSI) for Heppner & Petersen translated and revised by Samadi (1992). The study results showed a statistically significant relationship at the level of (0.01) between emotional intelligence dimensions (emotions management, empathy, emotional regulation, emotional awareness, and the total score) and problem _solving ability, and also a statistically significant at the level of (0.05) between social communication and problem _solving ability dimensions.
