هدفت الدراسة إلى تقصي أثر استراتيجية حل المشكلات في تحسين مهــارات القراءة الإبداعية والكتابة الإبداعية لدى طالبات الصف السابع الأساسي في الأردن. ولتحقيق هذا الهدف أعدت الباحثة أداتان: اختبار القراءة الإبداعية، واختبار الكتابة الإبداعية. وطبقت الدِراسة على عينة مؤلفة من (69) طالبة من طالبات الصف السابع الأساسي من مدرسة القادسية الأساسية للبنات، درست الشعبة التجريبية وعدد أفرادها (35) نصوص القراءة وفق إجراءات استراتيجية حل المشكلات المعتمدة. وبعد انتهاء مدة تطبيق الدراسة أعيد تطبيق اختبار القراءة الإبداعية واختبار الكتابة الإبداعية، حيث أظهرت الدراسة وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α = 0.05) بين متوسطات أداء أفراد الدراسة على جميع مهارات القراءة الإبداعية وعلى الاختبار ككل يعزى إلى متغير استراتيجية التدريس لصالح أداء طالبات المجموعة التجريبية اللواتي درسن النصوص الأدبية باستخدام استراتيجية حل المشكلات، كما أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α = 0.05) بين متوسطات أداء أفراد الدراسة يعزى إلى متغير استراتيجية التدريس لصالح أداء طالبات المجموعة التجريبية اللواتي درسن النصوص القرائية باستخدام استراتيجية حل المشكلات. وفي ضوء نتائج الدراسة قدمت الباحثة مجموعة من التوصيات. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of problem solving strategy in improving creative reading and creative writing skills of seventh grade female students in Jordan. To achieve this aim the researcher developed a test on creative reading and another test on creative writing. The study was administrated on a sample consisted of (69) female students from the seventh grade in Al- Qadisiya Basic school for girls. The experimental group (n=35) studied the reading texts through problem solving strategy. After the end of the experiment the researcher re-administrated the tests as the findings showed that there were significant statistical differences at the level of (a=0.05) between the mean of the participants performance on all creative reading skills and the test as a whole attributed to the teaching strategy in favor of the experimental group who studied the texts through problem solving strategy. Moreover, there were significant statistical differences at the level of (a =0.05) between the mean of the participants performance in favor of the experimental group who studied the texts through problem solving strategy. Based on the findings of the study the researcher presented several recommendations. (Published Abstract)
