هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تقويم خدمات التدخل المبكر لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة في سلطنة عمان من وجهة نظر الأسر، وذلك من خلال ما يلي: 1) معرفة رأي أسر الأطفال ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة حول مخرجات ومزايا برامج التدخل المبكر المقدمة لأطفالهم. 2) تحديد الفروق الإحصائية في تقويم خدمات التدخل المبكر وفقاً للمتغيرات الديموغرافية للأسر المستفيدة من التدخل المبكر. 3) تحديد المجال الأقل رضا لدى أسر الأطفال ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة في برامج التدخل المبكر. وقد تم اعتماد الأسلوب الكمي في جمع المعلومات باستخدام استبانة نتائج الأسرة (FamilyOutcomes Survey). أما عينة الدراسة فقد تكونت من أسر الأطفال ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة في جمعية التدخل المبكر للأطفال ذوي الإعاقة وعددها 53 أسرة. وقد أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن 78% من أسر الأطفال ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة كان تقويمهم إيجابياً لبرامج التدخل المبكر، و22% من الأسر كان تقويمهم سلبياً. ولم تكن هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في رأي الأسر حول خدمات التدخل المبكر وفقاً لمتغيري أولياء الأمور وجنس الطفل، في حين كان هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية وفقًا، لطبيعة الخدمات المقدمة. وكانت الأسر غير راضية عن نتائج وفوائد برامج التدخل المبكر في مجال معرفة حقوق الأسرة ومساندة الطفل من ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة. The main purpose of this research was to evaluate early intervention services of children with special needs in Oman by their parents. In order to: 1) Identify how the parents evaluate the early intervention services in Oman serving children with special needs. 2) Identify whether there were any significant differences in evaluation of early intervention services across demographic characteristics. 3) Identify the outcome of early intervention that has the lowest satisfaction. A survey methodology with quantitative research design by using Family Outcomes Survey was used. The samples of this study consisted of 53 parents in Association of Early Intervention in Oman. The results revealed the following: 78% of parents had positive evaluation about the program of early intervention, while 22% of parents had a negative evaluation. There were significant differences in evaluation of early intervention services across type of services provided in favor of early intervention services by the (Association). Parents expressed dissatisfaction about the early intervention services given by the center. (Published abstract)
