هدفت الدراسة إلى استقصاء المشكلات التي تواجه الطلبة في جامعة القدس المفتوحة بمركز بيت ساحور الدراسي في استخدام البوابة الأكاديمية، وقد صممت لهذا الغرض استبانة مكونة من ثلاثة مجالات: تمثل الأول في المشكلات المتعلقة بالمشرف الأكاديمي، والثاني في المشكلات المتعلقة بالنواحي التقنية، والثالث في المشكلات المتعلقة بالنواحي الفنية. وقد أجريت الدراسة على عينة قوامها 314 طالبًا وطالبة، اختيروا بطريقة العينة العشوائية البسيطة، ثم وزعت الاستبانة التي اعتمدت مقياس التدرج الخماسي. ومن النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة، أنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة α≤0.05 في متوسطات درجة المشكلات التي تواجه الدارسين في مركز بيت ساحور الدراسي في استخدام البوابة الأكاديمية تعزى إلى متغير (الجنس، والحالة الاجتماعية، والتخصص، ومكان السكن، والمعدل). وأوصت الدراسة باستمرار دعم البوابة بالمثيرات التقنية والفنية للاستخدام، وإجراء دراسة حول المشكلات التي تواجه الطلبة في استخدام البوابة الأكاديمية من وجهة نظر المساعدين الأكاديميين والإداريين في جامعة القدس المفتوحة. The study aims at tracking the problems that Encounter the Beit Sahour’s Campus’ Students in accessing the University Website Portal on the Internet. Therefore, to achieve this sole purpose of the study, I conducted a threefold survey that draws on three major trends. The first one espouses problems regarding the Academic Supervisor. The second one tackles technically related obstacles. The third one deals with operational difficulties and lags. I randomly distributed the study over 314 male and female students based on a five-question survey. Some of the results I came up with show a variant of α≤0.05 in the average percentage of the problems that students face in accessing the University’s Website Portal. This means that (a) signifies to no significant differences of statistical value when it comes to the problems which students face in relation to changes in their (sex, marital status, major, place of residence, GPA). The study, based on these results, recommends continuous technical and operational support to the Beit Sahour’s University’s Website Portal furnished with educational stimuli that encourage use. The study also suggests further research studies about the problems that face students in accessing the University’s Website Portal from the perspective of Academic Assistants and Administrators at Al-Quds Open University.
