هدفت الدراسة للتعرف على النمط القيادي لدى القيادات التربوية في دولة الكويت، وقد تكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع مديري المناطق التعليمية ومديري المدارس ومساعديهم في جميع المناطق التعليمية في دولة الكويت للبنين والبنات، وعددهم 1572 إداريا في وزارة التربية والتعليم والمنتظمين على رأس عملهم بالفصل الدراسي الأول من العام الدراسي 2009-2010 م، وتمّ استخدام أداة وصف فاعلية وتكييف القائد لتحديد السلوك القيادي المناسب للحالة مقياس والذي طوره وعربه (المغيدي، والناجي 1998) وبعد إجراء المعالجات الإحصائية المناسبة أشارت النتائج إلى أن ما نسبته 21.7% من أفراد عينة الدراسة يستخدمون النمط القيادي المسوق، وأن 75.7% يستخدمون النمط المشارك وأن 2.6% النمط المفوض وحيث لم يسجل النمط الآمر أي تكرار. كما أشارت إلى أنّه لا يوجد اختلاف في الأنماط القيادية لدى القيادات التربوية في دولة الكويت تبعا لمتغيرات الجنس والمؤهل العلمي والخبرة والمسمى الوظيفي. The purpose of this study was to investigate the leadership pattern with educational leaderships on the state of Kuwait, population of the study consisted of all educational areas’ directors and school principals and their assistants in the State of Kuwait for boys and girls totaling 1572 in accordance with the statistics of the ministry of Education and who work on regular basis and still working during the first scholastic term of the scholastic year 2006-2007. The leader effectiveness and adaptability description instrument was used which was translated and developed by Al Mughaidi, and Al Naji 1998. After conducting appropriate statistical processing, the results revealed that 21.7% of the subjects of study sample use marketed leadership pattern, 75.7% use the participatory pattern and 2.6% use the mandated pattern where the commanding pattern did not record any frequency. And the results showed that there is no difference in the leadership patterns of educational leaderships in the State of Kuwait in accordance with the variables of gender, academic qualification, and experience and job description.
