هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى استقصاء السلوكيات السلبية المؤثرة في مستوى احترام معلمي العلوم من وجهة نظر طلبتهم، والكشف عن مستوى احترامهم في ضوء ممارستهم لهذه السلوكيات، وتحديد قوة تأثير هذه السلوكيات على مستوى احترامهم، وبيان الحد الأقصى الذي يمكن تقبله لشيوع ممارستهم لهذه السلوكيات من وجهة نظر المختصين. تكوّنت عينة الدراسة العشوائية من (1800) طالبا وطالبة، و(120) معلما ومعلمة للعلوم في المدارس الأساسية بمحافظات إقليم الشمال في الأردن (إربد، جرش، عجلون، المفرق). اشتملت أداة الدراسة بصورتها النهائية على (84) سلوكا بعد التحقق من صدقها وثباتها. أظهرت النتائج أن هناك (50) سلوكا ممارسا بدلالة إحصائية، وكان مستوى الاحترام الموازي لها يتوزع بين مقبول ومتدن وضعيف. وتبيّن وجود (28) سلوكا غير ممارس بدلالة إحصائية، فكان مستوى الاحترام الموازي لها مرتفعا. كما تبيّن وجود (6) سلوكيات غير دالة إحصائيا، يتوازن معلمي العلوم في ممارستها، وكان مستوى الاحترام الموازي لها يتراوح بين المقبول والمرتفع. كما تبيّن أن قوة تأثير ممارسة هذه السلوكيات على مستوى الاحترام يتراوح بين الضعيف والشديد، وكان الحد الأقصى الذي يمكن تقبله لشيوع ممارسة هذه السلوكيات لا يتعدى (10%) بين المعلمين. وفي ضوء النتائج قدّم الباحث عددا من التوصيات. This research aims at investigating the negative behaviors practiced by science teachers that affecting their respect among their students. In addition, to clarify the level of respect in the light of their practicing these behaviors, and to determine the power of these behaviors on teacher’s respect, and its maximum accepted value. A random sample of 1800 students was used, and (120) science teachers in north sector of Jordan (Irbid, Jerash, Ajloon and Maraq) .The research instrument was a questionnaire. Its validity and reliability were established, the behaviors were (84) .Findings showed that there were (50) behaviors practiced statistically significant, with a level of respect ranged between weak, low and accepted. In addition, there were (28) behaviors not practiced; but statistically significant, with a high level of respect. Also, there were (6) behaviors balanced in practice but not statistically significant, with a level of respect ranged between accepted and high. The effect of these behaviors on respect level was ranged between weak and strong, while the maximum accepted value for seeing these behaviors was less than (10%) between teachers. Finally, some recommendations were introduced to those concerned in the area to further research. (Published Abstract)
