تهدف الدراسة إلى معرفة معوقات البحث العلمي لدى أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية في جامعة آل البيت، وأثر كل من النوع الاجتماعي، الكلية، الرتبة الأكاديمية، سنوات الخبرة، طبيعة العمل، وبلد التخرج، على معوقات البحث العلمي. تكونت عينة الدراسة من 113 عضو هيئة تدريس، وتوصلت إلى النتائج الآتية: جاء مستوى معوقات البحث العلمي على الأداة بشكل عام مرتفعا. كما أظهرت الدراسة عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا في مستوى معوقات البحث العلمي تعزى إلى متغير النوع الاجتماعي والكلية، الرتبة الأكاديمية، وطبيعة العمل، وبلد التخرج. كما أظهرت الدراسة وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا في مستوى معوقات البحث العلمي تعزى إلى متغير سنوات الخبرة ولصالح فئة سنوات الخبرة 6-10 سنوات. واقترح الباحث ضرورة تفعيل وظيفة الجامعة المتمثلة بالبحث العلمي بتخفيف العبء التدريبي، وتقديم الدعم المادي والمعنوي لعضو هيئة التدريس. This study aimed at investigating the problems of scientific research facing members of faculties at AL al-Bayt University and the effect of gender, college, academic rank, years of experience, work type, and country of graduation on scientific research barriers. The sample of the study consisted of 113 faculties. The results of the study revealed that there was generally a high effect for scientific research barriers on performance. There were no statistically significant differences in scientific research barriers attributed to gender, college, academic ranks work type, and country of graduation. However, there were statistically significant finding for scientific research barriers in favor of years of experience for the period (6-10) years. The researcher recommended that the scientific research be activated through lessening loads supporting the teaching stuff member both financially and morally. (Published abstract)
