هدف هذا البحث إلى تحديد مستوى فهم طبيعة علم الفيزياء لدى معلمي الفيزياء في المرحلة الثانوية في غزة بفلسطين، والتعرف إلى أنواع الطرائق التي يوظفونها في تدريس مبحث الفيزياء، والعلاقة بينهما. واتبع الباحث المنهج الوصفي، وصمم أداتين بحثيتين، هما: اختبار طبيعة علم الفيزياء، واستبانة طرائق التدريس. واختار عينة عشوائية من معلمي الفيزياء بالمدارس الثانوية في محافظات غزة بلغت 30 معلما و28 معلمة. واستخدم المتوسطات والنسب المئوية واختبارات واختبار تحليل التباين الأحادي واختبار شيفيه ومعامل ارتباط بيرسون للمعالجات الإحصائية. وتوصل إلى عدة نتائج من أهمها: بلوغ مستوى فهم معلمي الفيزياء لطبيعة علم الفيزياء 72.66%، ووجود فرق دال بين متوسطي درجات فهم طبيعة علم الفيزياء لدى معلمي الفيزياء بالمدارس الثانوية تعزى لمتغير جنس المعلم ولصالح المعلمات، وعدم وجود فروق دالة بين متوسطات درجات فهم طبيعة العلم لدى معلمي الفيزياء بالمدارس الثانوية تعزى لمتغير خبرة التدريس. وأن أكثر طرائق التدريس توظيفا لديهم طريقة المناقشة، ثم طريقة السير للأمام في حل المسائل الفيزيائية، ثم طريقة ضرب الأمثال، ثم طريقة خرائط المفاهيم، ثم طريقة التشبيهات، ثم طريقة الاستنباط، فطريقة العصف الذهني. ووجود علاقة دالة إحصائيًا بين درجات فهم معلمي الفيزياء لطبيعة علم الفيزياء ودرجات التنوع في طرائق التدريس التي يوظفونها في تدريس مبحث الفيزياء للمرحلة الثانوية. The present research aimed to identify the comprehension level of physics science nature among secondary school physics teachers, teaching methods they made use of, and the relationship among them. The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach, and designed two research tools: physics science nature test, and teaching methods questionnaire. The researcher selected a random sample of Gazan secondary school physics teacher 30 of whom were males and 28 were females. He used means, percentages, t. test, ANOVA, Scheffee test and Pearson coefficient correlation as statistical techniques. The results were as follows; 1) comprehension level of physics nature among the sample was 72.66%; 2) There was a difference of statistical significance in the mean scores of science nature comprehension among the sample attributable to sex and in favor of females; 3) There were no statistically significant differences in the mean scores of the science nature comprehension in the sample attributable to teaching experience; 4) the most frequently used teaching methods were discussion, moving forward in solving physics problems, giving examples, concept maps, analogies, deduction, and brainstorming, 5) there was a relationship between the physics nature comprehension and teaching methods in physics teaching.
