هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تعرّف مستوى المعرفة بخريطة فلسطين لدى طلبة ثلاث جامعات بغزة (الجامعة الإسلامية، جامعة الأزهر، جامعة الأقصى) في العام الجامعي 2008/2009م، وإلى معرفة أثر متغيرات الجنس، والجامعة، والكلية، ودراسة مساق جغرافية فلسطين قبل وأثناء الجامعة، والمستوى والمعدل الأكاديمي على المستوى نفسه. لذلك تم تصميم اختبار من 21 فقرة من نوع اختيار مباشر، أو تعين ظاهرات على خريطة فلسطين، وتركزت الفقرات في ثلاثة محاور (أسماء الخرائط وأشكال الخرائط وخريطة فلسطين)، وقد تم التأكد من صدق الاختبار وثباته بالطرق العلمية، والإحصائية المناسبة لذلك. تم تطبيق الاختبار على 2758 طالبًا وطالبة شكلت نسبة 8% تقريبًا من طلبة الجامعات الثلاث (الإسلامية والأزهر والأقصى)، والمسجلين في الفصل الدراسي الثاني من العام الجامعي2009/2008 م. وكانت النتيجة غير مقبولة، إذ انخفض المستوى بشكل عام إلى 48.8 % عند أفراد العينة، بمعنى أن الدرجة لم تصل إلى درجة المحك، وهي 60 %، وأظهرت الدراسة فروقًا ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى 0.05 في مستوى الثقافة بخريطة فلسطين ترجع إلى متغيرات: الجنس، والكلية، ودراسة مساق جغرافية فلسطين، والمستوى، والمعدل الأكاديمي في حين أن بعض المحاور الفرعية لم تظهر بها نفس الدلالة، وفي ضوء ذلك قدمت مجموعة من التوصيات. This study aimed to determine the level of knowledge of Palestine’s map in the universities of (Alaqsa- Alazhar–Islamic), and aimed to know the impact of variables of university, college, gender, the study of Palestine’s geography course before and after joining the university, Academic Level and grade on the level of knowledge of Palestine’s map academic procurement. So, a direct choice test of 21 paragraphs was designed to locate the places on map, and the test focused on three targets (Names of maps, Shape of maps ,and Palestine's map) also the test was verified and checked by scientific and statistical ways and applied to 2758 students, about 8% of Gaza universities’ students registered newly in the term of 2008\2009. The findings were disappointing, which the level decreased by 48.8%, that means the level didn't reach the lowest recommended level which is 60%, the study showed statistical differences at the level of 0.05%. The knowledge of maps was affected by the factors of gender, college, the study of Palestine’s geography course, and the academic procurement. In light of this, some recommendations were presented.
