هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة وجهة نظر طلاب الشهادة الثانوية العامة في مدارس محافظة دمشق الرسمية حول الدور الذي تقوم به القناة الفضائية السورية التربوية في تنمية أداء الطلبة، بالإضافة إلى ذلك الكشف عما إذا كانت هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين طلاب شهادة الثانوية العامة فيما يتعلق بدور القناة الفضائية السورية التربوية في تنمية أدائهم تبعا لمتغيرات البحث (الجنس، الاختصاص)، وهذه الدراسة الاستطلاعية تمت على عينة من طلاب شهادة الثانوية العامة في مدارس محافظة دمشق الرسمية للعام الدراسي 2010-2011 والتي بلغت 280 طالبا وطالبة. استخدم الباحث في دراسته الاستبانة المؤلفة من 20 عبارة موزعة على بعدين الثقافي والتعليمي، وتوصل الباحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج من أهمها:1) لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في دور القناة الفضائية التربوية السورية في تنمية أداء الطلاب تبعا لمتغير الجنس. 2) لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في دور القناة الفضائية التربوية السورية في تنمية أداء الطلاب تبعا لمتغير الاختصاص. على أثر النتائج التي توصل إليها الباحث انتهى إلى وضع بعض التوصيات الهامة: 1) الدعوة إلى التنسيق المستمر بين قطاع التربية وقطاع الإعلام بهدف التركيز على المحتوى التربوي الذي يمكن تقديمه للطلبة من خلال البرامج الثقافية والتعليمية . 2) دعوة المؤسسات الإعلامية إلى تقويم المادة الإعلامية بشكل دوري، وذلك بالتنسيق مع وزارة التربية في ضوء مجموعة من المعايير الإعلامية والتربوية والنفسية قبل أن تصل إلى المتلقين الطلاب. 3) وضع حلول وتوصيات حول ماهية المادة الإعلامية التي تُقدم في القناة التربوية السورية وفق الدور الثقافي والتعليمي، والتي تؤدي إلى نتائج موثوقة في المجال التربوي والتعليمي. The research aims to identify the viewpoint of GCE Students at the official schools in the governorate of Damascus about role that the Educational Satellite Channel in pays Developing the Students, performance and detect whether there were statistically significant differences between the students of secondary school certificate regarding the role of the Syrian educational satellite channel specialization in developing their performance according to the research variables (sex). This study is conducted on a sample of general secondary students at state schools in the province of Damascus in the academic year 2010 - 2011, which amounted to 280 students. The researcher used in a questionnaire, consisting of 20 statements is distributed to two dimensions (Educational and Cultural). The researcher reaches results including: 1) there aren’t statistical differences significant differences in the role of the Syrian satellite channel in developing educational performance of students according to gender. 2) There aren’t statistical significant differences in the role of the Syrian satellite channel in developing of the educational performance of students according to the variable of competence. The researcher recommended the following: 1) Invitation to the media for coordination between the education sector and media sector in the planning of educational content that could be provided to students through educational and cultural programs. 2) Call for media organizations to calendar information materials aimed at evaluating the media subject regularly and in coordination with the Ministry of Education in the light of media educational and standards psychological. 3) To put solutions and recommendation about the advertising item offered in The Syrian Educational Satellite Channel, according to the Educational and cultural role. It leads to confidential results in the educational field. (Published abstract)
