في السنوات الأخيرة أصبح منهج البحث المختلط من أكثر المناهج البحثية نموا وانتشارا في أبحاث تعليم اللغات وتعلمها نظرا لما يتمتع به من مزايا لا تتوفر في المنهجيات البحثية الأخرى. ونظرا لحداثة منهج البحث المختلط وقلة المحتوى المتاح باللغة العربية؛ أتى هذا البحث الاستكشافي في محاولة للفت أنظار الباحثين في تعليم اللغة العربية وتعلمها إلى استخدام منهج البحث المختلط في أبحاثهم. لذلك؛ هدف البحث إلى تسليط الضوء على منهج البحث المختلط من حيث نشأته، وأهميته، ومفهومه، ومنطلقاته الفلسفية، ودوافع استخدامه، وتصاميمه، ومعوقات استخدامه. بالإضافة إلى ذلك؛ تضمن البحث مسحا لواقع استخدام منهج البحث المختلط في أبحاث تعليم اللغة العربية وتعلمها في الفترة ما بين 2008-2018 ولم يجد الباحث أي بحث تم باستخدام منهج البحث المختلط. في حين قام الباحث بمسح لواقع استخدام منهج البحث المختلط في أبحاث تعليم اللغات وتعلمها في الفترة نفسها؛ ووجد ما يقارب 100 رسالة علمية، وعشرات الأبحاث، والكتب. وفي ضوء ذلك قدم الباحث عددا من التوصيات. In recent years, mixed method research (MMR) has become increasingly popular in the field of research of languages teaching and learning because of its distinguished advantages. However, MMR has not popular in the field of research of Arabic language teaching and learning because of lack of availabilities Arabic resources. This is because the MMR is new in the field of research of languages teaching land learning. Therefore, this exploratory research aimed to draw attention of researchers of Arabic language teaching and learning to MMR approach. Several issues were discussed such as MMR history, definitions, paradigms, design, advantages, and challenges. In addition, the researcher examined the using MMR in the field of research of Arabic language teaching and learning. The results showed that none of these researches using MMR during the period between 2008-2018. In other hand, the research examined the using MMR in the field of languages teaching and learning. He found about 100 dissertations, plenty researches, and books. Based on the results, recommendations were presented. (Published abstract)
