هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى معوقات استخدام مختبر العلوم في تدريس مبحث علوم الأرض والبيئة من وجهة نظر المعلمين. وقد استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي، وتمثلت أداة الدراسة في استبانة، تم توزيعها على عينة بلغ عددها (32) معلما ومعلمة، في المدارس التابعة لمديرية تربية لواء قصبة إربد، وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة ما يلي: 1) جاءت حدة المعوقات ضمن الدرجة المتوسطة، وبالنسبة للمجالات جاءت المعوقات المتعلقة بقيم المختبر في الترتيب الأول وبدرجة متوسطة، يليها المعوقات المتعلقة بالطلاب وبدرجة متوسطة أيضا، وفي الترتيب الثالث جاءت المعوقات المتعلقة بالمعلمين وبدرجة منخفضة، أما المعوقات المتعلقة بقاعة مختبر العلوم وتجهيزاته فقد جاءت في الترتيب الأخير وبدرجة منخفضة أيضا. 2) وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α=0.05) بين تقديرات عينة الدراسة لاستخدام مختبر العلوم في تدريس علوم الأرض والبيئة بشكل عام وفي مجال المعلمين تعزى لعدد سنوات الخدمة، ولصالح الفئة (اقل من 5 سنوات)، وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α=0.05) في جميع المجالات ما عدا مجال قيم المختبر تعزى للجنس، بالإضافة إلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α=0.05) تعزى للمؤهل العلمي. The study aimed to identify the obstacles of using science laboratory in teaching earth and environmental science subject from the perspective of teachers. The researcher use descriptive approach, the tool of the study represented by questionnaire. The study sample included (32) male and female teachers, in educational directorate schools in Irbid province, the results of the study showed the following: 1) the obstacles came within the middle-grade, and for the dimensions came the obstacles related to the laboratory supervisors in the first place and medium degree, followed by the obstacles of students in a medium degree, in the third place came the obstacles related to teachers in a medium degree, and the obstacles related to the laboratory hall and requirements came last and moderately. 2) There is statistically significant differences at the level of (α = 0.05) between the estimates of the study sample for using science laboratory in general and in teacher dimension due to the number of years of service, there is no statistically significant differences at the level of (α = 0.05) in all dimensions except laboratory technician dimension, due to the gender, and there is no statistically significant differences at the level of (α = 0.05) due to the qualification.
