يهدف البحث الحالي الى معرفة درجة ممارسة الحرية الأكاديمية لدى اعضاء الهيئة التدريسية بجامعة دهوك، اعتمد الباحث في تنفيذ بحثه على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي المقارن، واختار عينة عشوائية من أعضاء هيئة التدريس في جامعة دهوك إذ بلغت (300) تدريسي وتدريسية من الكليات (الهندسة، والعلوم، والزراعة، والتربية الأساسية، والعلوم الانسانية، واللغات) بواقع (156) تدريسي وتدريسية من الكليات العلمية و(144) تدريسي وتدريسية من الكليات الإنسانية. ولتحقيق أهدافه أعتمد الباحث أداةً الاسطل (2013) كونها تناسب اهداف البحث الحالي الخاص بالحرية الأكاديمية، حيث تكونت في صورتها النهائية من (45) فقرة، وزعت على أربعة مجالات هي: (اتخاذ القرار، وحرية التعبير، والبحث العلمي، التدريس). بعد جمع البيانات وتحليلها إحصائيا باستخدام معامل ارتباط بيرسون، والاختبار التائي (t-test) لعينة واحدة ولعينتين. The aim of the current research is to know the degree of practicing academic freedom among the faculty members of Duhok University. The researcher adopted the research on the comparative descriptive analytical method. He chose a random sample of faculty members at the University of Duhok, with 300 lecturers, from the faculties of (Engineering, science, agriculture, basic education, humanities and languages), (156) lecturers of scientific colleges and (144) lecturers of humanities colleges. To achieve the objectives, the researcher adopted the tool Al Astal (2013) as it fits the current research objectives of academic freedom, it is formed of (45 decision), distributed to four areas: decision making, freedom of expression, scientific research, and teaching. The data were collected and analyzed using the Pearson correlation coefficient, t-test of one sample and two samples. (Published abstract)
