This study aims at identifying the level of work pressure in elementary and middle school teachers at the State of Mila, uncovering the most important sources of this pressure. It was conducted on a sample composed of 100 male and female teachers. Chosen by cluster sampling method the tool of the study consists of measuring work pressure in teachers as prepared by "ASKAR et al." The researcher reached the following results the level of work pressure in elementary and middle school teachers is high. It was shown that the sources of this pressure are the pupils’ behavior, the appreciation of teaching as a profession, self-conflicts, the relationship of the teacher with the administration, psychosomatic symptoms due to pressure. However, the teacher's relationship with the supervisor and his relationship with his colleagues are not a source of pressure for him. There is no statistically significant differences.at the level if significance 0.05 among the sources of work pressure in those teachers according to the gender variable, seniority at work and the teaching stage.
