هدف البحث الحالي إلى معرفة مدى تضمين مهارات التعلم الذاتي في كتاب الكيمياء للصف الثالث الثانوي نظام المقررات في السعودية، وتكونت أداة التحليل من مهارات التعلم الذاتي. واقتصر البحث الحالي على كتاب الكيمياء للصف الثالث الثانوي نظام المقررات، طبعة 1437هـ، 2016م، وزارة التعليم بالسعودية. وأظهرت نتائج التحليل أن مستوى تضمين مهارات تنمية المفاهيم الكيميائية، ومهارات التطبيقات الحياتية، ومهارات الاتصال والتعاون، ومهارات التنمية المستدامة، في كتاب الكيمياء للصف الثالث الثانوي نظام المقررات بلغ على التوالي 89.5%، 75%، 40.8%، 33%، وبشكل عام بلغت نسبة تضمين المهارات الأربع مجتمعة في كتاب الكيمياء للصف الثالث الثانوي نظام المقررات 58.6%. وأن المهارات التي لم يتضمنها كتاب الكيمياء للصف الثالث الثانوي نظام المقررات هي يساهم المحتوى بتحقيق التعاون مع الآخرين لتحقيق التعلم، ويساهم المحتوى في المشاركة لحل المشكلات، ويرتبط المحتوى بتطبيقات علم الرياضيات. The current research aimed at finding out the extent of integrating the self-learning skills in the chemistry book for the students of third secondary stage who are on the system of courses in Saudi Arabia where the analytical tool included the self-learning skills. The current research limited the study to the chemistry book for the students of third secondary grade who are on the system of courses, edition 1437 AH, 2016 AD. The results of the analysis showed that the degree of integrating the skills of evolving the chemical concepts, skills of biological applications, skills of communication and cooperation, and skills of sustainable development in the chemistry book of the third secondary grade who are on the system of courses were respectively 89.5%, 75%, 40.8%, and 33%. In general, the percentage of integrating the four mentioned skills in the chemistry book of the third secondary grade who are on the system of courses reached 58.6% whereas the skills which were not included in this book were as follows: the content contributes in attaining cooperation with others to achieve learning, the content contributes and aids in solving problems, and the content is tied to the applications of mathematics.
